Gertrude Käsebier nee Stanton, (May 18, 1852 to October 12, 1934) was an American artist. Her photographs, especially the portraits, are quite impressive. Here is a sample of her work:
This is entitled "Lollipops" and dated 1910. The cat is not the main focus, but there is one beside the children.
Here is another portrait, untitled, dated to about 1910, where the cat is a prominent feature.
