April 9, 1945

April 9, 1945 is the date the Cincinnati Enquirer posted an article about a cat who hypnotized people.
We found out about this at another blog, Strange Company, which did all the work on the story. You can read the story there, though we will reproduce one of the photos, of Puffy, who does look like he is up to something.
