January 7. 1911

Butterfly McQueen (January 7, 1911 to December 22, 1995) gained fame in Gone with the Wind (1939) but as is often the case, she was an overnight success after decades of work.
She left money to the Freedom From Religion foundation in her will. Interesting lady, and as we can see from this picture, beautiful too.
