I have a mind where meadow, grove and stream
And common things like cats and bricks
To me do seem
Much as they might to lunatics.

This poem is titled: "Spokes Or An Ode On Ebullitions of Eccentricity That Ought to Have Been Overcome in Early Childhood." Our sample specifically spoofs, of course Wordsworth's "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood." Most of Knox's work appeared first in Punch, and might then be collected in books..In this case what we quoted appeared in Parodies Regained (1921). You can read the whole poem at Hathitrust.
Other of his titles include
Me, or : the strange episode of the reincarnated Greek (uncertain date)
A little loot (1920)
Fiction as she is wrote, (1923)
Poems of impudence, (1927)
Mr. Punch on the links (1929).
