March 17, 1956

Patrick McDonnell (March 17, 1956) is an American cartoonist and illustrator.
He has done illustrations for many authors also, including Eckhart Tolle. Most people know him best for his comic strip Mutts. He co-athored Krazy Kat: the Comic Art of George Herriman. (2004).  He lives in New Jersey with his wife and dog and cat. Their cat is named MeeMow.

Beneath Patrick McDonnell's funny mind there is a very  kind heart.
