of historical trivia regarding books, cats, and other animals. Actually this blog has evolved so that it is described better as a blog about cats in history and culture. September 3, 1929
They picked up Whitey Bulger (born September 3, 1929), on June 22, 2011. Big time mob boss and murderer. He was on the lam for 16 years. His defense is going to be that all the time of the crimes he was a wire for the feds. So we know this because of newspaper accounts, everything is alleged. Who knows. One thing though was in the newspapers that was not supposed to be there. However it has been published already, so I am not revealing secrets. And that is that his location was discovered because someone recognized his girl friend's photo from a wanted list publicity push. This someone was feeding cats at a feral colony when the encounter happened.
