February 19, 1937

Terry Gene Carr wrote science fiction and supported himself as an editor and teacher. He was born in Grants Pass, Oregon, February 19, 1937. Among his fiction is the short story, he wrote with his second wife, Carol Carr. I refer to the widely anthologized "Some Are Born Cats," dated to 1973. He died of heart problems on April 7, 1987, after a life spent on the west coast.
