Morley Callaghan recounts the story of accompanying a lady friend to the coliseum at night, and finding her feeding of the stray and feral cats there, an unnerving experience, which ended suddenly, when his friend threw the crumpled paper bag, which had held the meat, beyond the cats. Morley Callaghan won numerous literary prizes and died on August 25, 1990.
