The Book, Cat, & Cat Book Lovers Almanac
of historical trivia regarding books, cats, and other animals. Actually this blog has evolved so that it is described better as a blog about cats in history and culture. Faith McNulty died on April 10th, 2005. A New Yorker writer and wife of one, her nature writing includes a cat book I have mentioned before. But here we are, into year three of our almanac, and so I am mentioning an inclusion McNulty has in the book, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul. It is called "Mousekeeping." Actually that book, in which she was included, grates on my nerves, and that of all the chickens I haven't met.
