of historical trivia regarding books, cats, and other animals. Actually this blog has evolved so that it is described better as a blog about cats in history and culture. December 1, 1935

Woody Allen (December 1, 1935) does not appear to be a cat person. The only reference I noticed in his work was in "Annie Hall", where he mentions "cat books" in a derisive way, in a bookstore scene with Diane Keaton.

It does grieve me a bit that he has had to suffer the absurd allegations about his children with Mia Farrow. And that people casually refer to those events as if he were guilty. And since he is the greatest American director alive, I will take the time to point out the power of mother implanted memories, is illustrated in that tabloid mess.

And that I look so forward to his next movie.
