He was an actor. Tony Booth (October 9, 1931 to September 2017) was also the father of Cherie Blair, the wife of a former British prime minister. Tony Booth's lengthy filmography includes "Till Death Do Us Part". This was the 1965 television series that inspired Norman Lear's "All in the Family."

Cherie is the daughter of his first marriage. We quote from an interview with Booth published in Evening Standard magazine 14th January, 2005, during his marriage to his fourth wife:
.....
Who's on the sofa? My wife Steph and our cats: Cassie, Oscar, Finbar and Mikey.

What's on the menu? We'll have a nice bread with a selection of cheese, smoked salmon, pâté, olives, and other dips. I love home-made hummus and guacomole. My favourite cheese is Roquefort.

Pudding? Steph's home-made fruit cake with Cornish ice-cream.

And to drink? Mineral water.

What's on the box? World Cinema. It's a channel on Sky which shows the best films ever made such as
La Reine Margot and The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp. You should watch it sometime, it's absolutely brilliant.....

Above is a snap of a kind of British life. He published several volumes of memoirs.
