In the words of a daughter of Ursula K Le Guin (October 21, 1929 to January 22, 2018), this American novelist's cat "no longer goes in my mother's study." Since Le Guin's death Pard "has found new patterns and places, mostly draped scarf-like around my father’s neck in the morning, and sometimes atop ...[a] rocker later in the day.
