The Book, Cat, & Cat Book Lovers Almanac
of historical trivia regarding books, cats, and other animals. Actually this blog has evolved so that it is described better as a blog about cats in history and culture. And we take as a theme the advice of Aldous Huxley: If you want to be a writer, get some cats. Don't forget to see the archived articles linked at the bottom of the page.

Tis the malfeasance season
This site, "Strange Company" describes itself as " a walk on the weird side of history." To this end they quote Poe:
"...we should pass over all biographies of 'the good and the great,' while we search carefully the slight records of wretches who died in prison, in Bedlam, or upon the gallows."
~Edgar Allan Poe
And they put some Halloween cats here.
As did True Book Addict, which stops at "We are made by history..."
And of course, the cheap way, with I must say, pretty tacky results. Folks, don't be strapping stuff on your cat for an easy share. Don't make me haunt you.
