May 23, 1952

Martin Parr (May 23, 1952) is a British photographer. His long career has focused on documentary photography, with an emphasis on the intersection of the picturesque and the public.

An example is his series titled: "Abandoned Morris Minors", which we learn was "shot in the West Coast of Ireland between 1980 and 1983." He has justly been labeled an "illustrious UK photographer." Martin Parr's election as president of Magnum Photos International in 2014 is evidence of this.
