Terry Carr (February 19, 1937 to April 7, 1987) was a science fiction writer from Oregon (USA) who wrote stories and also edited a huge number of sci fi anthologies. He and his wife Carol wrote "Some Are Born Cats" (1973), about "two bright children [who] recognize that there is something odd about their black-and-white cat's behavior and discover that not only he, but their normal appearing Siamese, are aliens..."
